Bo בא "Come "
About the Title

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them," - Exodus 10:1
Most English translations translate the Hebrew word 'bo' (בא ) as 'go'. The word is traditionally translated as 'come'. So the phrase would read "Come to Pharaoh". It seems to be an odd way to begin a sentence. The translators can make a grammatical case for this in English of course. However, There is a hint hidden in the word 'come'. If God told Moses to go then that implies that God is staying put and that Moses is going alone to stand before Pharaoh. God instead says 'come' as in come with me to Pharaoh. God was not asking Moses to face Pharaoh on his own. The promise implied by God's words is that Moses should accompany Him to speak with Pharaoh. This sets the tone for the entire portion. God is telling all of Israel to come with Him and Moses as they free them from Pharaoh and lead them out of Egypt.
